CICS Print Facility

The CICS Print Facility (CPF) is a full featured end-user based printing subsystem for CICS ***(ibm) customers. Created in the early 1980's to allow the creation of reports online for display, management and distribution using the popular IBM CICS system, the system has continued to be of value into the 21st century. It provides for end-user control of report creation and distribution, while utilizing the knowledge base of existing programming staff in report creation. Reports can created online using standard CICS language calls or can be created in batch and retrieved directly from JES.
